2022 is here and it gives us a chance to take a beat and thank you for building your EV charging application on the eDRV platform. Our product team is constantly building and we can now announce a flurry of new features on our APIs that we would like to share with you.

From introducing our new API version 1.1 to allowing you to play with our products even before you’ve got your own hardware, click through to take our new features for a test drive.

Announcing eDRV v1.1

Those already signed up for our one-of-a-kind APIs can now benefit from our newest version. The new eDRV v1.1 API is now available and new changes can be found on our docs site. It features a more efficient programming model, real time webhooks, power management and more.

Free OCPP Charging Station Simulator

New to our platform but your physical network is still in the works? Not to worry as you can now play around with our chargestation simulator to see how our products work. From finding a location to charging in real time and processing a payment, our simulator test mode is available for you to use even before your first chargestation is up.

Admin Dashboard and Demo Apps Improvements

Now EV charging operators will have a ready-to-use demo driver app at their fingertips the moment they sign up. This Demo Driver App also allows for you to make integrations with Stripe and Email accounts. The new Admin Dashboard also allows users to quickly test basic sessions APIs and get access token API by way of an API Playground.

Power Scheduling and Session Power Management

eDRV wants to make sure you’re always ahead of the game by ensuring you have real-time access to Energy Reports, Power Scheduling and real-time Session Power Management. There’s more to come on the details on this make sure to reach out to find out more!

The eDRV product and engineering team has an exciting year ahead with new products such as Virtual Network APIs (search and manage chargestations on other networks), Load Balancing APIs, Scheduled Session Cutoffs (set a target time, energy or money target for a session) and much more.
